The Fillmore Period
Johnny Talbot and his bands (as variously comprised) were favorites of the late rock impressario, Bill Graham. At The Fillmore, Graham booked the band with the Grateful Dead, Chuck Berry, Janis Joplin, Muddy Waters, Jimi Hendrix, Jefferson Starship, Otis Redding, and other great artists. The band also recorded for Atlantic and Rhino records. Johnny Talbot & De Thangs still play amazing music.
